Scalability is frequently used as an indicator that something is badly designed or even broken. As scalability demands increase for virtualization and for multi-user environments, the limitation of the 32-bit Windows architecture becomes more and more prominent, thus driving the movement towards 64-bit Windows. This session starts with a brief introduction of terminal servers based on x64 Windows. This will lead to a discussion about the results of terminal server scalability tests both on physical and on virtual platforms, such as Hyper-V. Learn from an expert how to set up your own terminal server test environment using simple methodologies and tools.
