[System Installation] [Requirements] [Installation Phases] [Server Manager]
This chapter describes the requirements for installing Windows Server 2008 and activating Terminal Services in application server mode. Before you install the software from DVD-ROM or via the network, you need to make several basic decisions. During the installation process there are several setup phases, each of them used to configure specific system settings.
Note: In case you already have a fresh installation of Windows Server 2008 up and running, proceed to lesson 2.3 if you only want to learn how to install the appropriate server roles in order to establish a terminal server.
